Cedarwood has stood beside the community for over 40 years. Today, over 15k people a year use our services. We're built on the values of compassion, dignity, and community power.

More than just a community centre, we deliver vital frontline services across the Northeast. From this trusted base, we provide a lifeline of support, connection, and opportunity, reaching individuals and families where it matters most. Whether it’s food security, financial inclusion, skills development, or emotional wellbeing, we are here to help people thrive, not just survive.

We work with local councils, non-profit organisations and businesses to facilitate help to those who need it including foodbanks, work placements and resources.

Cedarwood is maintained by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers from the community who care passionately about helping those within the Meadow Well area and making a real difference.
